'To answer David Bowies’ question; ‘is there life on Mars’? Well there may not be life on Mars but there is a life on Earth that may as well be from Mars. Take the lives of the inner city kids for instance: descendents of the post-war boom in single parent culture and concrete home replacements, the rise of the tenement, the council estates and mountains of rubbish; chronic alcoholism and drug culture, victims of continuous social reforms and economics. 

There’s is the legacy of unfulfilled dreams.
